GibbsCAM Training Options
Having been a GibbsCAM reseller for decades until the beginning of 2024, we are well versed in programming 2-axis lathes, 3 to 5-axis mills, 4 to 6-axis mill/turns, multi-task machining centers, Swiss machines, and Wire EDMs. Although we no longer sell or support GibbsCAM software, we do still provide GibbsCAM training here at our office, or at your facility, through our partnership with CAMCO ne.

Custom
We offer personalized training sessions for your team. Available both on-site and in our classroom, these sessions are the perfect place to ask questions about specific projects or get trained on any aspect of the software.
Live, Online
Online, classroom-style training with live instructors is available as eight 3-hour classes over a two week period. This convenient training option keeps you in the shop and requires no traveling.

Classroom Training Courses
Whatever your level of GibbsCAM expertise, we’ve got a training course to give you the tools to program parts faster and more efficiently.
Geometry Creation
This course is designed to teach you how to use GibbsCAM® to create geometry suitable for the machining of toolpaths using Free Form CAD and the Geometry Expert spreadsheet.
Production Milling
This course is designed to teach you how to use Production Milling to create 2.5 axis milling toolpaths, including hole operations, contouring operations, roughing operations and thread milling.
Production Turning
This course is designed to teach you how to use Production Turning to create 2 axis turning toolpaths, including hole operations, contouring operations, roughing operations and threading.
Polar/Cylindrical and Mill/Turn
This course is designed to teach you how to use Polar/Cylindrical to create and machine wrapped geometry and perform mill/turn operations using the Milling and Turning package.
Advanced CS
This course is designed to teach you how to use Advanced CS to create multiple coordinate systems for modeling and machining toolpaths on VMCs, HMCs with a 4th/5th axis.
2.5D Solids
This course is designed to teach you how to use the GibbsCAM 2.5D Solids Package to create and machine prismatic solid models using a number of different techniques.
Advanced 3D Machining
This course is designed to teach you how to use the legacy Surface Machining processes, and the Advanced 3D and High Speed Machining capabilities included in newer versions of SolidSurfacer.
Tombstone Management System
This course is designed to teach you how to use the Tombstone Management System (TMS) module to more easily generate multi-part setups for tombstone machining and create appropriate G-Code output.
5-Axis Milling
This course is designed to teach you how to use the GibbsCAM 5-Axis option to create 5-axis simultaneous toolpaths including tool axis control, gouge checks, and link options.
Multi-Task Machining (MTM)
This course is designed to teach you how to use the Multi-Task Machining (MTM) option for the definition, creation, and programming of multi-turret, multi-spindle parts.
OptiCAM Wire EDM
This course is designed to teach you how to use OptiCAM Wire EDM for feature recognition, solids machining, automatic 4-Axis synchronization, simulation, and using 2D wireframe geometry.
Probing
This course is designed to teach you how to use GibbsCAM Probing to create different probing tool types, probing processes, probing shapes, and probing parameters.
Live, Online Training Classes
We’ve made training even more convenient with online, classroom-style training classes with live instructors. Available on a recurring schedule, courses consist of 8 classes, Tuesday through Friday, over two weeks. With live instructors, you can ask questions and get the help you need immediately, just like if you were in person.

Explores working with solid models and coordinate systems control.
GibbsCAM 4 And 5-Axis Machining
